Risking Life and Limb

It is interesting. They put this little barrier to protect your life but in order to get to it you have to risk life and limb. The climb down can be quite treacherous. One slip and it is either broken bones or the ride of a lifetime in a very fast running river.

I, of course, am up at a safe spot whereas good old Colette Amelia is in the danger zone.

You know, of course, that you can't talk a woman out of doing something that she is determined to do. You do know that, don't you?

And there is those awful farewell mountains in the background.

Give Colette Amelia a birthday hug from me.

This reminds me of the bow of the Titanic.. in the movie when Kate Winslet is hanging off of it singing with Leo. So... romantic. I picture you down there serenading her with happy birthday wishes or something just plain romantic.
