Look at A Single Stalk of Grain

This is the Theory of Home Renovation. Don't look at the entire field of grain. You will be overwhelmed by the huge task. Focus on a single stalk and when that one is done focus on the next.

Of course, the way things go, you end up with a couple of stalks in focus but it is still better than an entire field.

The kitchen is sink-less for a day or two. The top cabinets are in and the bottoms should be done today. If the counter is in tomorrow then it and the sink will get done.

The next day will be the day to focus on a new stalk.

I grew up on a farm. When I was a little kid I could sit in a wheat field and really LOOK at a stalk of wheat and marvel at the way it's put together. And at the fact that THAT could be turned into a sandwich. This is a great picture.

Yes, you are right Michael, one stalk at a time. Wouldn't it be great if we could do ALL of life like that. Then we cold enjoy life, be in the moment and be fully present.
PS beautiful photo for us Saskatchewan girls to enjoy, thanks.

Lovely photo.

The weed seeds are there too, they represent using the wrong hinges, maybe?
