Judge Not

I was in the gold mining town of Barkerville and wandered into the church to snap some photos. There was a bible lying open.

I think if I was a christian, this would be an important bit of doctrine. In fact, everybody could use it as a guiding principle life.

It SHOULD be a guiding principle but it is soooo easy to judge and so hard to not judge. When I don't judge my daughter, for instance, things go better with our relationship. She knows what I think is right--doesn't need me to tell her. It is her right to change or not. My right is to love her.

you say you are not a Christian but.. would you consider your self to be spiritual being? I would say you are extremely so. So what is the difference between religion and spirituality? Ever been hit on the head buy the cosmic 2X4? So the moral of the story is not to judge and don't cast the first stone, unless you have never done anything wrong.

excellent use of focus and love the added compositional line the ribbon provides....and yes words to live by regardless of belief or non-belief....

A lot of us grew up with Bible verses like this, Michael, and still don't abide by them very well. Sigh. Guiding principles are important, if only we would live by them!
