The Increasing Cost of Killing Yourself

It used to cost less to kill yourself. 79 cents for a pack of smokes in 1976.

Tell kids that now, they won't believe you.

I remember when gas was 30 cents a gallon. Oh, how I'd like to go back in time and fill up.

I just read a Young Adult book about a Polish family who were banished to Siberia and the people there--during WWII--tore pages out of books and used them to make cigarettes. I don't know how that relates to your blog picture today but it's interesting.
