Looking at the ice jam, these people stood and stared for quite a while. I admit to doing the same thing but not as long. I mean, how long can you look at ice on a river that is not moving?

Michael, I grew up in a town so small that if we had an ice jam we would have gone out to watch it. The most interesting thing we got to watch in our river, the Sevier, which is one of the most winding rivers in the world, was an occasional dead cow floating by. I never figured out why dead cows floated by in the river.
Is it still jammed?
nice
