Four actually. And they certainly are not coins.
Coins tossed in the public fountain are for other cities. What do we have here in Prince George? Syringes and cigarette butts.
Isn't that just so attractive?

I think it's related to my last post, isn't it?!
Yeah, I guess it kind of is.
a very heartbreaking picture with your commentary.
Interesting shot...
this is a strong image!!
Beautiful shot. Sadly, this is what a lot of Victoria looks like downtown. Are you -sure- you want to come for a visit?
dur dur,mais très belle photo
Many architects refer to public art that incorperates water as 'ashtrays', with good reason as illustrated by your excellent photo
hope there weren't any children around ? Dangerous stuff !
Unfortunately, there is all too many of this garbage strewn carelessly throughout the city with no regard to children.
We have a free needle exchange that is supposed to limit the risk, but instead it just increases the risk for all the people who do not partake in this risky behaviour...children, city workers, and good hearted people who pick up the mess.
Lately there has been talk of a injection site where the users would get the free needle and inject their drugs in a public funded safe clean atmosphere with medical personal on hand...is this the answer?
