A Photoblog of Michael Rawluk's Journey through life.
A huge boulder in a narrow canyon with turbulent water roaring.
This was where eight young men died 33 years ago today when they decided to canoe through this canyon.
My friend Collette has more information at: http://meanderings-and-blatherings.blogspot.com/2007_05_10_archive.html

Hi Michael, no logro visualizar claramente la imágen porque la veo confusa... (intuyo unos rápidos de río) pero de todas maneras es un buen homenaje y recuerdo para las jóvenes vítimas. Hace mucho tiempo...
Hi Michael, profit not to visualize the image clearly because I see it confused... (I intuit expresses[roiling] of river) but of all ways it is a good tribute and memory for the young people vítimas. Long ago...
Nice shot. Kinda roaring!
My! Really scary! Great capture.
wow impressive took me a while to understand
There's something strange happening; everybody's blog has something a little 'darker' than usual?
Oops, just posted another slightly dark shot. I have one planned for tomorrow which will climb off the macabre mountain.
Hi there, i'm off to a canoe exhibition today so this got me thinking about the dangers of white water! I went over to Colette's site to read the full story.
Thanks for sharing,
Best wishes from Switzerland
Neil
