Road Rapture
Two images today:
Okay, I admit it. I had a little case of Road Slightly Pissed Off today. Or Road Irritated. Nothing big just someone ran a stop sign in front of me and I felt like following but I just went home.
Why isn't it like the good old days when driving could be a moment of solitude?
Or if you are caught in a traffic jam, maybe a use the time to advantage an reflect upon your life.
Or use the time to work on your primal scream. But close your windows first.

I remember Reo Speed Wagon and feel slightly irrate for acknowledging I remember them. I also remember when you could leave your keys in the car too....with the freakin' door open!
Go into a shop and buy/browse for a few minutes come out get back in the car and carry on your merry way!
I love driving it's like you mentioned a moment of solitude and reflection, for me.
nice image. They would not use the name of "speed" wagon in todays world:)
cool, the rusting colors are great,
Cool stuff! Excellent!
Well there were no 'speed' wagons here in Oz and so some of the vernacular/canadian pigin english is lost on me. However road rage is everywhere and yes I miss the days when we went for a drive like it was an outing, an event!
The contrast between the rust and the steel 'deco' looking letters is great brought to our attention by your wonderful eye Ekim
I know how you feel. I react the same way. That feeling of ire may be a con but your images above are pro for the day; lovely contrast in textures. A pleasure to look at these shots.
I love detail shots like this...very nice.
No I know where the name came from. Cool.
Nice dual shots. I guarantee that jalopy couldn't speed if its life depended on it. nice!
the chrome looks fairly new on the rust. Nice geometic lines with the added interest of the cool old car.
Aha, another shot of my favorite photo.
