Not Another Religious Image

No, it is not another image of the Virgin Mary appearing on the wall of a Tim Horton's Doughnut Shop (and I refuse to write Donut even though Tim Horton's has become corrupted enough to use that word). It is not an image of Jesus in a blood stain at centre ice during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

It is more artistic than religious.

To me it looks like some 19th century Montmartre artist who is so talented that he can sell no paintings. (He because it looks masculine to me).

Now you've done it. I'll be very surprised if you don't get at least one shroud of turin comment.
Interesting image, I've got a tile in my bathroom -directly below my feet when I'm...how shall I say it-relieving myself, that seems to have a watching face. Hmm, cause that may some cause fro freudian concern? Someone watching me poo.

great post.... did this image "appear" overnight? Have you had a priest examine it? Do the holes in the donuts have a special meaning when tied to this picture?

:)

An interesting experience, browsing your blog Michael. You have an eye for good subject matter and your commentaries show your thoughtful involvement with each image. Your photography is well executed. Now that I've seen this shot, I suppose I'll be looking out for veiled faces in everything!
