Needing the Sun
Felt like crap (can I say that internationally?). The way to fix it was to go for a walk in knee deep snow with my camera. It is odd that thinking about something like hunting for photographs actually is so distracting that I forget that I feel like crap.
Such is the nature of the human brain.

Keep On Truckin'
I live in the pick-up truck capital of B.C.. Sometimes they seem to outnumber the number of people.
And now that Christmas is finished, we will start seeing Christmas trees in the boxes of many of those truck. They usually stay there until Easter.
You have to like traditions.

Stop
Stop! The jollity and merriment have had their day and now . . .
maybe we could think about someone else. Someone not in our families. Maybe we should give a little, just a little, to someone we don't know.

You're the Top
You're the top, you're the Coliseum,
You're the top, you're the Louvre Museum,
You're a melody from a symphony by Strauss,
You're a Bendel bonnet, a Shakespeare sonnet, you're Mickey Mouse.
You're the Nile, you're the Tower of Pisa,
You're the smile on the Mona Lisa,
I'm a worthless check, a total wreck, a flop,
But if baby I'm the bottom, you're the top.

Ain't No Mental Speed-Wagon
Have you ever had one of those days when your brain doesn't quite feel up to par? How about a lifetime of those days.

A Big Fat Lie
I woke up this morning and all the snow was gone. Not just melted, it was gone. The sun was shining. The air was warm. Birds were singing. I was a handsome young man.
I then woke up for real.

Rock Garden
I keep wondering if is possible to shoot a photograph of snow. Getting there but it is still more than just snow.

A River Runs Through It
The Nechako River is choked with ice at its confluence with the Fraser and is flooding. Some homes and businesses have been evacuated.

Windows 1.1
Do you ever photograph windows? Do you ever think "Maybe they think I am some weirdo and they might call the cops."?

Heat me up, baby.
An old hot water radiator.
This is an old shot. I was occupied today and didn't get any shots. I might have used this before but who is going to notice unless I mention it?

19 20
I sometimes think I shouldn't be living in my Hobbit Hole apartment but at least I don't live somewhere like this. Tiny little places beside a busy noisy street. Thin walls so they are probably a little chilly in winter.
