I like your title for this unusual land formation. Your fine black and white work reveals the undulations in the hill-like mound. From the hill behind I would gather that this is a very large hill. Nice foreground for contrast. Excellent range of tones!
I think this geological feature is a drumlin formed by glacial action. Enough of the brainy stuff...great image with the moody sky.
