A Copse of Cops?

What do you call a group of police?
There were 12 cops practicing estimating the speed of cars while one held the radar gun.

    I think it would be interesting to try guessing speeds and checking the guesses against the radar gun.
    Police is one of those singular and plural words like "deer." So a group of police is... police! :-)
