Once we had a garage sale which spilled over to our large front lawn. We sold a plethora of things and at days end we found an odd chair had wondered in and taken up residence. It was a yellow, imitation leather fellow. We didn't know how to get rid of it--too big for the garbage can so he stayed around, loitering next to the garden for a few years and then one day he was gone. Just like that.

I have made quite a few works of art using old chairs as a starting point...I think you're making art too.
